Exciting News!
Many of you have kept up with our family for years, and know that our kids settled in other states. Our workload doesn’t allow us time to go see them, so we’ve joined forces with a great young family who share our values for animal welfare and fresh, high quality local food.

How it started...
As many of you know, we are the Maddick Family - Jay, Carol, Brandon, and Isabel - and we started Campo Lindo Farms in Lathrop, Missouri in 1996.
Since the early days, when we loaded up cooler with chickens and started knocking on restaurant doors, we’ve grown to provide many of Kansas City’s top restaurants and grocery stores with the highest quality, all-natural, free-range chickens and eggs! Our focus has always been local food.
Thanks for visiting, supporting our family, and reading our egg notes all these years! We're so glad you're here, and we can’t wait to see where Matt and Eleanor's energy & fresh outlook take us!
How it's going...
Hello! We’re Matt and Eleanor Tiefenbrun, and we couldn’t be happier to be continuing to provide such high-quality products to the KC community with through Campo Lindo guided by Carol and Jay!

Like the Maddicks, we are a farm family who raises chickens and eggs, sheep, cattle, and have all sorts of other critters in our lives. Also like the Maddicks, we’ve have always been champions of local food and animal welfare.

We’ve known Carol and Jay for years, and have come to regard them practically as bonus parents of late—such lovely people are they! So we feel such gratitude (and humility) to be carrying the torch ( and egg notes! :D ) from here!
